Today, the United States along with its allies intercepted package bombs that were targeting Synagogues and Jewish community centers in the Chicago area. The initial reports were that the packages were not actually armed, but were a way to test the U.S. response. Later in the day, President Obama confirmed that the packages were actual bombs.
