SPILL UPDATE: VOLUME 12

Day 49. The entire day I dreaded doing this update since the story has been going on so long that I am getting tired of hearing about it. Then, suddenly, they show oil soaked birds and my anger at BP drives me to make this entry. It also helps when President Obama says the following on the Today Show:

"I don’t sit around just talking to experts because this is a college seminar. We talk to these folks because they potentially have the best answer so I know whose ass to kick."
