As you know by now, on Wednesday evening umpire Jim Joyce blew a call with 2 outs in the ninth inning that cost Detroit Tigers pitcher Armando Galarraga a perfect game. Since the game, Joyce has admitted blowing the call. However, baseball commissioner Bud Selig has reviewed the incident and has decided not to overturn the call. Is his decision right or wrong? You can voice your opinion in the poll below (see item 12). While I agree that this was a clear error on the umpire's part which unfortunately cost Galarraga the perfecto, to maintain the integrity of the game and the ability of umpires to control the game, Seig's decision is correct.
