THE SECOND DEBATE

I have waited a few days to post this commnent, wanting to provide every opportunity for any of the polls to say that John McCain won the second debate. But, I can't seem to find one. Not that I can find many that call Barack Obama (that one) a clear cut winner either. But, just like in a championship match in boxing, it is becoming clearer by the day that McCain must score a knock-out to actually beat Obama. Any October surprises...

The one poll that should be comforting to Obama is the poll of undecided voters taken by CBS News. The results of that poll:

Obama 40%
McCain 26%
Draw 34%

These numbers are very similar to the results after the first debate.
